Supporting the Community Since 1990

The Bereavement Counselling Services has been providing compassionate support to the
West Lancashire community since 1990. It was founded in response to an unmet need,
ensuring that those experiencing loss have a place to turn for understanding and guidance.
As the only voluntary organisation of its kind in West Lancashire offering free specialised
bereavement support, we are committed to being there for those who need us.

While we receive some funding from NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated
Care Board, we rely on donations and fundraising to continue our vital work. Every
contribution, no matter the size, helps us provide comfort and care to those navigating grief.
